To be eligible you must:
• Own the property (including landlords and small business owners)
• Be based in England or Wales
• Currently have a fossil fuel or electric heating system (gas, oil, LPG, or electric without a heat pump)
• Use an MCS-certified installer who is a member of an approved consumer code – this is what our Elevate MCS Umbrella Scheme helps with
• Have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) for the property
There are no income thresholds or requirement to claim benefits. The scheme is open to second homes and rental properties too.
