21st July 2026 – NEW Boiler Upgrade Scheme Changes
The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero has announced an update to the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
From 21 July 2026, the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant for eligible off-gas-grid properties replacing an existing oil or LPG heating system with an air-to-water or ground source heat pump has increased from £7,500 to £9,000.
The increased grant is available until 31 March 2027.
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme has changed as of the 28th April 2026.
