Current grant amounts are:
£7,500 for air source heat pumps
£7,500 for ground or water source heat pumps
£5,000 for biomass boilers
From July 2026, the grant will be temporarily increased to £9,000 for homes and small businesses that currently use heating oil or LPG.
The grant is applied as an upfront discount on your installer’s quote, you do not receive the money directly.
