Spire Renewables now offers battery storage alongside our Air Source Heat Pump systems.

Designed to work with off-peak energy tariffs, these batteries charge overnight using low-cost electricity and power your heat pump during the day.

We’ve partnered with Tesla to offer 13.5kWh and 27kWh battery packages, selected based on your heat pump size and budget. We chose Tesla batteries because:

1. They have the highest discharge rate available – ideal for heat pumps.
2. They include a 10-year warranty.
3. They guarantee at least 70% capacity after 10 years, regardless of usage.

You can also integrate a PV array with your system – Tesla batteries come with a built-in inverter for seamless solar compatibility.
